As part of a project to support agency Athene Communications, faithful comms drafted the copy for an important new website, www.Socialworkpeterborough.co.uk. The site will help to attract social work practitioners to the city, helping to address some of the challenges that come with rapid population growth.
Since October Faithful Comms been working with a well known comparison site. One that's often linked to a dressing-gown-wearing mammal with a Russian accent.
Since then we've written more than 150 pages of content designed to improve SEO rankings and give people searching online useful copy that will help them. So it's needed to be informative and helpful, chatty and charming.
Not only has it helped us become local experts in comparing insurance and energy products (much to the annoyance of our friends and family), but a recent meeting provided some encouraging and rewarding feedback.
Faithful Comms has now been chosen as the sole freelance provider of all this content, for three reasons.
1. We're fast! We're told we turned the copy around more quickly than the other providers that were initially involved.
2. No questions asked. We quickly and accurately interpreted the brief and delivered what was needed.
3. Writing it right. The copy was chatty and informative with the right level of charm!
We're really enjoying the work - it's coming thick and fast and Faithful has assembled a small team of writers to ensure we keep to the standards that we've set.
The best news of all is that the content and its keywords have helped drive the site much up Google rankings, often to position 1 or 2.
Great to know!
It's been a busy few months, working for a few different clients. One of these is Ferguson Financial Solicitors, which is an interesting company offering a range of commercial legal services. What's interesting about them is that they have turned the disreputable world of PPI claims into business advantage, by using PPI to create funds for insolvent companies. That way people's creditors can get some of their valuable funds back.
Here are a couple of recent articles done for them...
Our focus has been on making use of content as widely as possible, so articles have been press released to local media, used on Twitter and Linked In and posted on other local business networking sites. We've also been using some low-cost, social media promotional tools to get a wide reach.
